Web design & development
No matter what kind of site you need, Digital Devise will help you to stand out online
An Underperforming Website can Leave Your Company In the Dust
Not to mention all the waste.
- Ineffective marketing campaigns
- Missed sales opportunities
- Talent recruitment woes
Your website should be helping your organisation build momentum; making your efforts easier and creating new opportunities.
Your brand shouldn’t have to suffer long-term consequences because of a mediocre website.
Custom websites are for medium-large sized businesses that have a sizeable budget for a new website and that want full control over the look/feel. Once a client has been on-boarded, our team meets internally to start planning a sitemap, wireframes, and design direction. We then go through each step, presenting everything from initial concepts to structural planning to the final design. Our team will walk you through each phase until the final project is launched to ensure your 100% satisfaction
We love building new websites, but if you come to us with an existing website, we’re willing to work with that, too. We’ll review your existing website design, your code, and your overall goals to make design change recommendations and implement those. Website redesigns vary greatly in pricing and depend on the existing framework.
The above offerings encompass most of the types of web design services we offer, and we also can work with you to include special functionality. This includes adding plugins that support your website’s functionality, like IDX integration, event calendars, and more. You tell us what you’d like your website to do and we can build it into your budget.
Web design is more than just pretty images on a screen. At Digital Devise, web design is the natural extension of your brand’s story that sets the tone for your online presence. Great web design pushes the boundaries between a static three column layout and gives users an immersive brand experience that allows for connection and participation online and IRL.
Great design is not created in a vacuum. Our designers dive deep to immerse themselves in your industry and your brand aesthetic. We dive deep to find a new spark of an idea that you may not have considered before. Our collaborative process involves you and your team every step of the way, ensuring that your new site is something that truly represents you and your business while also pushing you to the next level.
We know that most companies and clients do not have in-depth web design backgrounds. That’s why each project is assigned a dedicated Designer Project Manager who acts as their own subject matter expert: advising them along the way, pointing out web best practices and ensuring that the ultimate web design is simultaneously on trend and able to grow with you into the future.
We create cutting-edge ecommerce platforms, applications, and everything in between — that are always mobile- and tablet-responsive. We’ll guide you through every step of the process, from strategy to coding to marketing and launch. Our development team is able to adapt to any platform, any inventory, and any e-commerce product. Whether you’re looking for creative direction or expert-level execution, we’ve got you covered.
Our e-commerce experts are able to connect your site to major e-commerce platforms, like WooCommerce and Shopify. Not only does this give you the best opportunities for software linking, but it empowers you with the capacity to modify, update and edit your site on your own schedule. Because inventory moves fast, and your website should too.
Your website isn’t just a URL. It’s an essential component of your marketing and business strategy. It’s an extension of your brand and a virtual experience for your consumers. When you’re choosing a site developer, you need someone you can trust to execute every aspect to the highest level of quality. Don’t worry: no matter your company, product, or customers, we curate a multi-platform, omnichannel experience seamlessly.
Created in 1994, W3C is an international community of member organisations that articulates web standards so that websites look and work the same in all web browsers. Its mission is to lead the World Wide Web to its full potential by developing standards, protocols and guidelines that ensure its long-term growth.
W3C’s primary focus is developing protocols and guidelines for key aspects of the web ranging from HTML and CSS coding to web architecture, XLM technology, web devices, and web browsing and authoring tools.
So far, W3C has generated more than 90 standards, also called “recommendations,” that have passed through its rigorous process of review, formulation and implementation. Why are these standards important to web designers and web users? Because they ensure that the web works equally well for everyone, regardless of their location or technology.
W3C standard technologies are downloadable at no cost, maintained in a predictable fashion, and strengthened through rigorous interoperability testing. Conversely, websites that don’t use W3C protocols will be slow to load, which can frustrate visitors. They won’t work well with all browsers, which could eliminate many potential viewers. And they won’t work as efficiently with search engines, which could lower search rankings and make it harder for people to find the site. W3C standards are the primary reason the web works so well today and will work even better in the future. They’re good for web designers and for web users, and should be an integral part of every web design project.
